Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle Announce Co-Headline US Tour

Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle are teaming up for a run of co-headlining tour dates. Taking place in December, the seven-date jaunt will see the comedians visit cities including San Diego, Phoenix, Anaheim, San Jose, San Francisco, and Sacramento. A Live Nation ticket pre-sale will take place on Thursday, October 20th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use access code PUMPKIN), with a public on-sale following on Friday, October 21st via Ticketmaster. In a recent stand-up set, Rock said the Academy asked him to host the 2023 Oscars, but he turned them down. Chris Rock’s busy year continues: Today, MTV Studios announced that they’ve granted a straight-to-series order for Everybody Still Hates Chris, an animated revival of Rock’s popular oughts sitcom Everybody Hates Chris.  Like its predecessor, Everybody Still Hates Chris is largely inspired by Rock’s own memories of growing up as a hapless, dorky teenager from a working-class family in 1980s Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. Rock will serve as executive producer of the series alongside showrunner Sanjay Shah, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Becky, and Ali LeRoi — the latter of whom co-created the original Everybody Hates Chris alongside Rock.
