Kardashian Victim Tristan Thompson To Pay $9.5K A Month In Child Support To Maralee Nichols

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: San Francisco Chronicle/Hearst Newspapers via Getty Images / Getty Khloe Kardashian’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, has just finalized a paternity settlement with his latest baby mama, Maralee Nichols, but luckily for him he’s not coughing up Kanye West child support kind of money. TMZ is reporting that NBA star Tristan Thompson and Maralee Nichols have agreed he will be providing her a monthly allowance of $9,500 for their one-year-old son, Theo, and even pay for some of her lawyer’s fees as well. That’s $190,500 less than Kanye West will be paying his multi-millionaire ex-wife and baby mama, Kim Kardashian, on a monthly basis. One would think it’s because Tristan got himself good legal representation, but there’s actually a good reason behind the low pa...

Nick Cannon Talks Child Support Claims to Pay ‘A Lot More’ than $3M A Year

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhtoosByBeanz It’s a question most of us have asked. How much does a man who will soon welcome his 12th child pay in child support? According to Nick Cannon—a whole lot.  The Sun published an article last week estimating that child support costs Cannon nearly $3 million a year, according to attorney and legal expert, Goldie Schon—who does not represent Cannon.  “When you have somebody like Nick Cannon, who’s an extremely high-income earner, the courts in California have the right to deviate from the typical child support guidelines,” Schon wrote, adding, “If he is taking home somewhere upward of $5 million a year, you have to look at what it would take to have the children kept in the lifestyle of both parents.”  However, ...

Judge Lights Up Lamar Odom After Missing Child Support Payments In Favor Of Boxing

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Bill McCay / Getty Another chapter has been added to Lamar Odom’s book of struggles. A judge recently blasted him for missing his child support payments despite being able to box Aaron Carter.  As spotted on Page Six the former baller has some explaining to do regarding his beloved children. On Tuesday, January 27 a hearing was held in a Manhattan, New York court about his lack of consistency with making child support payments. “If Mr. Odom is in good enough shape to participate in a boxing match, he’s certainly in good enough shape to abide by his obligations to support his children as set forth in the settlement agreement,” Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Matthew Cooper said via video. Earlier this year the former Los Angeles Laker was hit with ...

Lil Baby Requests Primary Custody In Child Support Battle With Baby Mama

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Lil Baby is in the midst of some family drama. The Atlanta rapper and his baby mama, Ayesha Howard, are arguing about child support in court, and he’s seeking primary custody. The former couple shares a 5-year-old son, Jason. But now their back and forth is getting extra bitter, and it seems to be coming down to her wanting a lot more money, and Lil Baby thinking he’s already been providing plenty. Reports TMZ: Here’s what’s up — the rapper has been going back and forth with Ayesha Howard for weeks after she accused him of failing to pay for their son Jason‘s schooling, which she says resulted in the boy being kicked out. Ayesha then filed legal docs — obtained by TMZ — seeking a declaration of paternity and child support from Lil Baby, claiming...

Millionaire Future And Eliza Reign Reach Super Low Child Support Settlement…For Now

Source: VCG / Getty Future and Eliza “Reign” Seraphin’s child support saga has taken an interesting turn after the pair settled on a surprisingly low monthly payment for their one-year-old daughter, Reign Wilburn. As reported by Madamenoire, Future has been ordered to pay $3,200 per month to Seraphin until their daughter turns 18 years old. Originally, he offered $1,000 after Seraphin demanded $53,000.  Both proposals were rejected, which is why their settled amount raises more questions than answers.  Last year Forbes released its annual “World’s 20 Top-Earning Hip-Hop Stars” list, ranking the 36-year-old rapper in the 17th slot for earning an estimated $19.5 million between June 2018 and June 2019.  Considering he’s been a super troll on social media for throwing sublimina...
