Precisely 129 days into his second tenure as governor of Edo State after his election on September 20, 2020 and inauguration on November 12, 2020, Godwin Obaseki, has not formed his cabinet. This has generated some flaks from different quarters, including the opposition party, All Progressives Congress (APC), constitutional lawyers, political analysts, public commentators, residents among others. While others feel that Obaseki has not committed any crime or breached any law, others believe that he is running a one-man administration and must go ahead to form his cabinet. They argued that going by Section 192 of the 1999 Constitution, the governor is obliged to form a cabinet, saying this is a circumvention, which the state House of Assembly should take action on. Obaseki had said that his ...

Wizkid – “Check”, Is The Best Teaser To Elate Nigerian Listeners, The Review

“Check”, the un-anticipated record added next to Wizkid’s successful 2020 fourth studio album – “Made In Lagos”, has been built with the finest afro structural percussion instruments, progressive synth, and bold trumpeting rifts that both accompanies unending melodies which the record entirely displays from start till the end. “Check” literally is like a teaser song and is more like a freestyle that was almost lacking in total serious attitude in the general creation. RELATED: Korede Bello’s Popstar Transformation, Ready To Dominate Once More – “Real Man” Review Though it was released, Wizkid’s delivery sounded worthy to sustain an average Nigerian listener. Manchester United rages at penalty talk as team draw another blank

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Manchester United are being negatively influenced by opposition managers referring to their penalty record after being denied a spot-kick in a 0-0 draw at Chelsea on Sunday. United was furious that referee Stuart Attwell stuck to his original call not to award a penalty for handball by Callum Hudson-Odoi despite being asked to review the incident by VAR in the first-half. The Red Devils have been awarded 22 penalties in the Premier League since the start of last season, four more than any other club, which led Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard to question why their sides failed to get the same treatment from officials. “It’s all these outside influences.
