Dee Snider has shared “Stand (for Ukraine),” a re-worked music video for his 2021 Leave a Scar track “Stand.” The Twisted Sister singer also launched the World United Live support campaign to aid the country. Snider recently made headlines when he voiced staunch support for the Ukrainian’s use of Twisted Sister’s anthem “We’re Not Gonna Take It” as a rallying cry against the invading Russian forces. Korn have unleashed a cover of the Charlie Daniels classic “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”, featuring guest vocals from rapper Yelawolf. Proceeds from the song will benefit the nonprofit organization Awakening Youth. The track was recorded during the sessions for Korn’s 2019 album, The Nothing, but sees its release less than a month after the passing of Charlie Daniels himself. The country music and Southern rock legend died July 6th at the age of 83 after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke. Simply dubbed “People”, this offering sees the TV on the Radio frontman instructing his listeners to confront and condemn white supremacy wherever it rears its ugly head. “If you see it’s a Nazi, say it’s a Nazi, and get that Nazi out,” declares Adebimpe on the track. “People” was self-produced by the indie rocker with assistance from friend and TV on the Radio drummer Roofeo.
