Fans from around the world can now bid on one-of-a-kind golf clubs custom-made for Avicii. The clubs were designed by Swedish LPGA Player Dani Holmqvist and feature Avicii’s signature logo, which is laser-engraved on the underside of each of the wedges. The one-of-a-kind collector’s item arrives by way of the online auction house Charitybuzz. In a fitting move, the auction will benefit the Tim Bergling Foundation, an organization which advocates for the recognition of suicide as a global health emergency. Fentanyl overdose is officially the single leading cause of death among young adults in the United States, according to the CDC, and on March 10th in Los Angeles, the dance music community is taking up arms. The aptly-titled “Nobody Else Has To Die” benefit concert will be hosted by End Overdose, a non-profit dedicated to combatting drug-related deaths via education and medical intervention training. Its lineup, curated by local promoter Restless Nites, will include DJ sets by Black Marble, Drab Majesty and Sextile as well as live performances by the likes of Madeline Goldstein and Aurat. To boot, 100% of its proceeds are designated for the Asian Mental Health Collective and associated philanthropies. This year’s DREAMWORLD will also be its first in-person edition, scheduled for December 3rd at The Midway SF. Last year’s inaugural run tapped 69 artists, including Krewella, Adventure Club, Snakehips and Loud Luxury, for three days of virtual sets.
