Grammy-Nominated “Cola” Duo Elderbrook and CamelPhat Reunite for New Single, “Body”

Lightning has struck for the third time after CamelPhat and Elderbrook reunited for “Body,” a brand new collaboration from the famed “Cola” artists.  The pair, who were nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording back in 2018 for “Cola,” have once again joined forces for what sounds like another house music classic. The anthemic “Body” picks right up where “Cola” left off, with a disco-inspired funk and house hybrid that could soundtrack an Austin Powers rollerskating scene. Carl Cox, Kaytranada, Honey Dijon, More to Perform Manchester’s Parklife Festival 2021

The music festival announcements continue to roll in with Manchester’s beloved Parklife Festival next on the docket. After taking 2020 off in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the fest is set to return bigger than ever at Heaton Park on September 11th and 12, 2021.  The lineup for this year’s festivities is stacked, featuring the biggest names in hip-hop and electronic music. Carl Cox, Honey Dijon, CamelPhat, Peggy Gou, Adam Beyer, Disclosure, Four Tet, Jamie xx, Kaytranada, Annie Mac, The Blessed Madonna, and more have all been confirmed to perform at the two-day festival. CamelPhat Announces Launch of New Record Label

After a Grammy Award nomination and critically acclaimed debut album, oftentimes the next natural step for an artist is to start a record label. Enter famed “Cola” producers CamelPhat, who have announced the launch of their very own imprint. Following the release of their expansive and critically acclaimed debut Dark Matter, the famed electronic music production and DJ tandem is set to launch a new dance music banner in summer 2021. The duo took to Twitter today, February 18th, to announce the news and invite music producers to submit demos to the label, which hasn’t been publicly named at this time. Defected Records to Staff New Livestream Festival Series With Nightlife Professionals Displaced by Pandemic

Standing in solidarity with the global events industry amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Defected Records is launching a series of livestream events featuring a roster of top dance music talent. The announcement follows in the wake of the venerated UK imprint’s successful virtual festivals, which were delivered weekly in the first half of the year. Defected’s We Dance As One livestream festivals will see DJs playing from their favorite local nightclubs, which currently lay dormant due to ongoing event restrictions.
