TIME named Nigerian physician Tunji Funsho to the 2020 TIME100, its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. NASCAR Confirms Noose Was Inside Bubba Wallace’s Garage After Investigation

Source: Chris Graythen / Getty After a noose was reportedly found inside the garage of NASCAR diver Bubba Wallace‘s garage, the organization has gained praise for its handling and endured jeers from detractors. After doubt was cast by conservative pundits over the noose, NASCAR officials shared images of the noose all which confirms accounts yet some are still dissatisfied. ESPN reports that NASCAR finalized its internal investigation of the event, this after the FBI determined in its findings that the noose’s placement was not a hate crime. Black NASCAR Driver Bubba Wallace Unveils Black Lives Matter Paint Job For No. 43 Car

Darrell “Bubba” Wallace Jr. is continuing the tradition as one of NASCAR’s top-ranked racers and has just revealed that his No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro will feature a Black Lives Matter paint job in the wake of him asking for Confederate flags to be banned from the tracks. Via social media, the Richard Petty Motorsports team that Wallace races for announced the new paint job scheme via a video interview that laid out the inspiration for the Black Lives Matter angle.
