Source: Jon Cherry / Getty Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, famously called out by Megan Thee Stallion, did the absolute minimum when it came to seeking justice for Breonna Taylor, the innocent Black woman killed whiles sleeping in her bed during a botched police raid. So much so, that members of the Grand Jury are calling for his impeachment. According to 3 jurors, Cameron is a liar who told the media one thing, while telling them something totally different. Reports TMZ: The 3 grand jurors zeroed in on Cameron’s public pronouncement he put possible homicide charges on the table for the Grand Jury, but they didn’t bite. Not true, say the 3 grand jurors. They say Cameron NEVER even mentioned homicide charges were an option. The only charge that was on the table was wanton end...
One of the Louisville police officers who shot Black emergency medical technician Breonna Taylor, and the officer that prepared the warrant for the botched raid during which she was killed, were told on Tuesday that the department aimed to fire them. Taylor’s boyfriend, who was with her when police burst into the home, fired once at what he said he believed were intruders. Three police officers responded with 32 shots, six of which struck Taylor, killing her. Source: Jon Cherry / Getty As if things couldn’t get any worse for Breonna Taylor’s case, Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron is doing everything in his power to block a juror’s request to release files detailing what happened during the grand jury proceedings that allowed her killers to avoid charges. Blavity reports that Cameron broke protocol last week by releasing grand jury recordings in Taylor’s case after an anonymous juror filed a legal motion demanding the information be open to the public and to speak out about what was said during the proceeding. The request includes “discussion of charges that were NOT presented to the grand jury, explanations of the law that were NOT provided to the grand jury, defenses or justifications that were NOT detailed during the proceedings...
