€15m-rated attacker fancies a move to West Ham this summer, two other PL clubs keen

Barcelona attacker Martin Braithwaite has been linked with a move away from Spain this summer and West Ham United are being mentioned as a potential destination once again. According to Spanish publication Sport, the player fancies a move to West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer. Brighton and Hove Albion have been linked with the player as well. The 30-year-old is unlikely to get enough game time with the Catalan giants next season especially after the arrival of Sergio Aguero and he needs to move on. A transfer to West Ham could be ideal for the player this summer. The Hammers will need to add more quality and depth to their attack and the Danish international could support Michail Antonio under attack. He is likely to get ample game time at the London club next season. ...

West Ham linked with a move for 30-yr-old La Liga attacker this summer

Denmark international Martin Braithwaite could leave Barcelona this summer, and West Ham United are keeping tabs on the attacker. According to Spanish publication Sport, Brighton and Hove Albion, Burnley and Norwich City are also monitoring the player. The Spanish club paid around €18 million to sign Braithwaite, and they will be looking to recoup most of their outlay. The player won’t be a regular starter next season, especially after Sergio Aguero’s arrival, and it makes sense for Barcelona to move him on permanently. SL View: Would be an underwhelming addition for the Hammers West Ham must improve their attacking options, but the 30-year-old would not generate much excitement amongst their fans. He bagged seven goals and four assists in all competitions last season, and the Hammers need...

Denmark’s goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and striker Martin Braithwaite on Monday lamented that they had to choose whether to restart the Denmark-Finland Euro 2020 match while they were reeling from Christian Eriksen’s mid-game collapse. “We were put in a position, that I personally feel that we shouldn’t have been put in,” Schmeichel told Danish media at a press event in Helsingor north of Copenhagen. “We had two options,” Schmeichel explained. “Either come back the day after (Sunday) at noon or continue the game.” The Leicester City goalkeeper said he wished someone more senior would’ve said “that it wasn’t the time to take that decision, and that we should maybe wait until the day after to decide”. “What has happened has happened, and hopefully they’ll learn from this,” Schmeichel said, a...
