In Arizona, there’s one event promoter that has the Phoenix EDM scene on lock: Relentless Beats. These top-notch organizers already power landmark festivals like Decadence NYE, Crush Arizona and Goldrush. Now, their sub-brand RBDeep is adding yet another event to the company’s docket: Body Language. The three-day festival will be dedicated to house, techno and underground music. After a monster phase two lineup announcement for Ultra Music Festival 2022, the landmark EDM event has now announced that its roster will also include the return of its underground brand, RESISTANCE Island. Originally debuted in 2019, the techno and house showcase will be headlined by the likes of Adam Beyer, CamelPhat, John Summit and Nina Kraviz. It will also see the debut of Carl Cox‘s three-hour “Hybrid Live” performance, as well as a special stage called the Carl Cox Megastructure. Tesla’s Berlin Gigafactory complex isn’t producing vehicles yet, but it did hold its first rave over the weekend. Tesla CEO Elon Musk had previously quipped that he’d been considering whether various areas of the complex, including the solar panel-dotted rooftop, might be suitable for a “mega rave cave.” Now, with Giga Fest, he’s made good on his intentions. The county fair-style attraction featured arcade games, carnival rides, Tesla accelerator ride-alongs, and a marathon of DJ sets spanning the day from morning to sundown.
