National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has campaigned for the reelection of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu saying he has done more than talk. Tinubu said this in Akure during the inauguration of the newly built Internal Revenue Service office complex constructed by the Akeredolu administration. Asiwaju Tinubu urges immortalisation of former US envoy Walter Carrington
Sen. Bola Tinubu, All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, has called for the immortalisation of former U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria, Walter Carrington, in recognition of his outstanding achievements. Tinubu made the call in a condolence message by his media aide, Mr Tunde Rahman, which was made available to newsmen on Saturday in Lagos. Newsmen recall that Carrington who was also U.S Ambassador to Senegal, died on Tuesday at the age 90. In his tribute to the late diplomat, Tinubu described Carrington as a citizen of one nation and son of two. Adams Oshiomhole swears in Waziri Bulama as APC acting national secretary
National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, on Monday, swore in Waziri Bulama as acting National Secretary of the party. This is coming a few months after a crisis within the party’s ranks almost cost Oshiomhole his position. The Deputy National Secretary, Victor Giadom, had laid claim to the position after an Abuja High Court earlier granted an interim injunction restraining Oshiomhole from parading himself as national chairman. A truce was reached following the intervention of President Muhammadu Buhari and the party’s National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
