Fans have endured over 15 months and a revolving door of rumors since Gaga’s chart-topping, cyberpunk-themed Chromatica album dropped, but the wait was worth it. Executive produced by BloodPop®, Dawn of Chromatica is a supercollider of genre-bending dance music. Hyperactive electronic crossover bangers speckle the album like a paintball gun gone haywire. Renowned producer A. G. Cook teamed up with Charli XCX for a fierce rendition of Gaga’s Madeon-assisted “911,” a captivating cry for help that came with a spine-chilling short film. Meanwhile, Arca warps the tempo of “Rain On Me” (with Ariana Grande) in a blissfully quirky house rendition w...

Flushed with production credits from heavy-hitters in the EDM space, like Skrillex, Axwell, Tchami, and Madeon, the release of Lady Gaga‘s Chromatica album was one of the defining moments for dance music in 2020. By summer 2021, the Little Monster rumor mill was ablaze after longtime Gaga collaborator and Executive Producer and A&R of Chromatica, BloodPop®, posed one simple question: “In theory – which artists would y’all want to see on a Chromatica remix album (and on what song),” he tweeted. The requests ranged across the board, from Madonna to Lil Nas X. And it wasn’t long until confirmations started rolling in. Fans will be happy to hear that renowned Venezuelan electronic music artist Arca has been confirmed as a rem...

BloodPop® Teases Potential “Chromatica” Remix Album From Lady Gaga

Renowned producer BloodPop®, a longtime creative collaborator and A&R of Lady Gaga, sent the Little Monsters into a tizzy this week when he posed a simple question on Twitter. “In theory – which artists would y’all want to see on a Chromatica remix album (and on what song),” he tweeted, followed by a series of emojis. The post opened the floodgates to thousands of replies requesting remixes from Grimes, Madonna, Lil Nas, Britney Spears, and many more. While the tweet clearly indicates that the idea of a remix album is floating around, it was BloodPop®’s ensuing response to his own tweet that seemingly confirmed that a record is in the works. He tagged Rina Sawayama, whose November 2020 hit “LUCID” he produced, before the sing...

Grimes Releases Full “Miss Anthropocene” Remix Album Featuring REZZ, Richie Hawtin, More

With the original album out for nearly a year, electronic music producers have reimagined Grimes‘ Miss Anthropocene from a rave perspective.  The synthpop songstress brought together numerous high-profile electronic artists, including Richie Hawtin, Tale of Us, and REZZ to make her remix album Miss Anthropocene (Rave Edition) a reality. The record is vastly a sonic exploration of the darker, trunk-thumping flavors of techno made possible by a tone-setting opening remix from ANNA and a distortion-heavy take on “My Name Is Dark” by Julien Bracht. Those tracks contrast with the melancholic pop contributions of BloodPop® and Channel Tres, who brilliantly outfit “Delete Forever” with chunky funk bass and disco textures. REZZ’s sp...

The pop songstress has already teased some of the forthcoming tracks in her DJ mix for the blockbuster video game Cyberpunk 2077 in which she plays a character named Lizzy Wizzy. The release of Miss Anthropocene: Rave Edition wi...

Manager of Lady Gaga Producer BloodPop®: Women “Will Usher in a New Revolution” of Dance Music

Following the release of her sixth studio album Chromatica, Lady Gaga is going to need a forklift to haul the hardware coming her way. According to a report by Bloomberg, Gaga has dethroned Bad Bunny as the world’s biggest pop star thanks to the EDM-inspired Chromatica, which features production from Madeon, Skrillex, Tchami, Axwell, and Boys Noize, among others. Following the album’s ballyhooed release, it skyrocketed up the charts to rapidly emerge as the best-selling album in the US this past month. According to Bloomberg, Mother Monster sold over 400,000 copies over the course of the month while no other artist even eclipsed 300,000. The record’s lead singles, “Stupid Love” and “Rain on Me,” the latter of which we predicted as an...

Lady Gaga’s “Chromatica” Album is Finally Here, Featuring Production by Skrillex Axwell, Tchami, Madeon, and More

The long-awaited debut of Lady Gaga‘s sixth studio album Chromatica is finally here. It’s her first LP since 2016’s Joanne, and first new-music release since the soundtrack to 2018’s A Star Is Born. However, this new album feels to pick up where Born This Way left off, as a reboot to her deeply honest, unapologetically Gaga dance-pop ways. She masterfully crafted 16 tracks within 43 minutes with the help of some of dance music’s most skilled producers, including BloodPop®, Tchami, BURNS, Axwell, Madeon, Skrillex, among others. If you enter your Chromatica listening experience expecting merely dance-floor music, you are going to have a good time but will miss out on the true beauty Gaga has crafted for us. There̵...
