Sources say Dave Chappelle has asked that his Drink Champs episode with Black Star be shelved. As per Page Six N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN recently sat down with the Brooklyn duo for a very rare joint interview. The Rap group was also joined by the legendary comedian who is said to have funded all the travel and expenses to make the episode happen. Black Star have released their second album No Fear of Time, which also happens to be their first album in nearly 24 years. The album is exclusively available on the subscription-based audio entertainment platform, Luminary. Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def) and Talib Kweli’s previous album, Mos Def and Talib Kweli are Black Star, was released in 1998 and became an instant classic. Since then, while they’ve released projects on their own, the duo hasn’t released a full-length project together, though released an occasional song every few years.
