Mobile app developer Kosta Eleftheriou has a new calling that goes beyond software development: taking on what he sees as a rampant scam problem ruining the integrity of Apple’s App Store. PHED begins distribution of 77,000 meters to customers
File Photo The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Plc, PHEDC, has begun the distribution of 77,000 Prepaid Metres to its Customers within its area of operation. The Head, Administration, Ngozi Koroye, in a statement in Port Harcourt, noted that the metres were installed under the National Mass Metering Programme, NMMP. Koroye explained that the initial scheme, Meter Asset Provider, MAP, which runs concurrently with the NMMP was launched in 2019 and operated by independent entities licensed by the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, to provide metering services which may include meter procurement, supply, installation, maintenance, and replacement. Report: Aston Villa discussing the possibility of signing £20m midfielder wanted by Crystal Palace
Aston Villa are thought to be discussing the possibility of signing Marko Grujic from Liverpool. The player was on loan at Hertha Berlin last year and he has been quite impressive with his performances. According to reports (h/t Birmingham Mail), Villa are looking to sign the 24-year-old midfielder but his asking price could be an issue. Grujic is valued at £20m. Furthermore, Aston Villa are not the only English club looking to sign the box-to-box midfielder this summer. Crystal Palace have made contact with his agent as well. If Villa managed to convince Liverpool to lower their demands, Grujic would be a solid long-term signing for them. He would add power, presence and defensive cover to their midfield.
