Fresh new music release from Beyoncé titled – Break My Soul. As the journey draws closer to the release of her anticipated project “Renaissance” scheduled for July 29, Beyoncé drops a new piece “act i” off her album titled “Break My Soul“. It is an impressive house/dance tune for her beloved BeyHives. The track stands in as the sixth on the list on the album. “You won’t break my soul,” on repeat Bey sings. “Release your anger, release your mind / Release your job, release the time / Release your trade, release the stress / Release the love, forget the rest”, a voice lifted from “Explode” by Freedia is also heard in the background. Beyoncé has blessed our ears once more by giving the BeyHive a first taste of her upcoming album Renaissance with her new single “Break My Soul,” which dropped Monday night via Tidal and a lyric video on YouTube. It’s the first single from Bey’s upcoming seventh project Renaissance, which she announced would be released July 29 and cryptically added that it would only be “act i.” She subtly announced it by changing the bios on her socials to “6. BREAK MY SOUL midnight ET,” meaning “Break My Soul” is also the sixth track on the album. (Here’s everything we know about Renaissance so far.) “Break My Soul,” the first track from Beyoncé‘s next album “Renaissance,” was released three hours early on TIDAL, her husband Jay-Z’s streaming service. It’s the jam the Beyhive has been waiting for: Tricky Stewart and The-Dream — the same team behind Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” — co-produced the dancehall and disco-inflected song. According to sources from Variety, the album will include “dance and country-leaning” songs, with contributions from star composer Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote her 2008 smash “Halo.” Raphael Saadiq, who has written songs for Mary J. Blige, D’Angelo, and Stevie Wonder, and produced Solange’s 2016 album, is also reportedly participating. So far, the dance part seems to be on th...
After subtly announcing that a new album was on the way last week by changing the bio on her social media platforms, Beyoncé has done the same thing today to share that a new song is on the way. At midnight EST/9 pm PST, Beyoncé will release “Break My Soul,’ the first single from her upcoming album Renaissance. That album is out on July 29. In the bio, it simply states: “6. BREAK MY SOUL midnight ET.” Based on that, “Break My Soul” is likely the sixth track on Renaissance. Beyoncé’s previous single, “Be Alive,” was released last November. Renaissance will be Beyoncé’s first proper solo album since 2016’s Lemonade. She’s released three collaborative and live albums since then: Everything Is Love in 2018 with Jay-Z, Homecoming, a live album from her 2018 Coachella set in 2019...
Surprise! Leave it to Beyoncé to announce a new album out of thin air. About a week ago, the superstar deleted a profile picture from her Instagram account, leaving it blank for a bit. For eagle-eyed fans, that meant something was up. Their Jedi-like awareness was correct. Titled Renaissance, it was announced in a tweet by Tidal and seemingly confirmed in the bio of the singer’s Instagram account late Wednesday (or early Thursday morning depending on where you live). This is Beyoncé’s first release since 2019’s The Lion King: The Gift. If you want to go back even further, it’s her first solo album of the non-soundtrack variety since 2016’s smash Lemonade.
