Taylor Swift, Lizzo & More: Who Should Win Top Song Sales Artist at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards? Vote!

Five artists racked up record song sales to be nominated for Top Song Sales Artist at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, but only one can come out on top. Taylor Swift has a whopping 54 top 10 hits (and 20 No. 1s) on Billboard‘s Digital Song Sales chart, Post Malone has notched 11 top 10 hits, Billie Eilish carries five, Lizzo holds three, and Lil Nas X has one, which ended up going to No. 1. Three of the nominees are also up for Top Selling Song: Eilish (“bad guy”), Lil Nas X (“Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus), and Lizzo (“Truth Hurts”). The nominations for the 2020 Billboard Music Awards came out today (Sept. 22), and Post Malone led the list with 16, including one for top artist. So who should win in that category? Taylor Swift made history when she dropped her 2020 surprise album Folklore in July, which topped the Billboard 200 for six weeks to tie Whitney Houston‘s record for most cumulative weeks at No. 1 among women. It could be her third time collecting this award, since she won top artist in 2013 and 2015. Taylor Swift, Post Malone & More Artists Who Could Make History at the 2020 BBMAs

Juice WRLD, Avicii and Whitney Houston were all nominated posthumously. Post Malone and Lil Nas X are this year’s leading nominees for the Billboard Music Awards, with 16 and 13 nods, respectively. They are followed by Billie Eilish and Khalid, with 12 nods each; and Lizzo, with 11. See the full list of nominees here.
