My Chemical Romance’s highly anticipated reunion tour may have been postponed to next year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have your own emo night at home, black eyeliner, bleeding hearts and all. In fact, the band highly encourages it: MCR have announced their own makeup line inspired by their now-classic 2004 album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. A collaboration with cosmetic company HipDot, the new MCR line includes affordable products such as a double-ended liquid eyeliner ($12) and a nine-color eyeshadow palette ($24). Both should help with recreating frontman Gerard Way’s signature Three Cheers-era look — and even if it all runs because of your *~sad~* tears, that just means you’re officially An Emo Kid Who is Not Okay (You Promise). My Chemical Romance’s HipDot makeup collecti...
AC/DC have teamed up with DC Shoes for a new line of footwear and apparel. The merch launches this Saturday (November 7th), just in time for the legendary band’s upcoming album, Power Up, which arrives on November 13th. DC Shoes is known for its skate footwear, so it’s not surprising that the shoes are the highlight of the AC/DC collaboration. A handful of classic DC styles and silhouettes have been adorned with the band’s iconography. One style features the cover of Highway to Hell printed on the canvas area, while others boldly display the band’s logo. The shoes will retail for a suggested price of $55 to $75. In addition to the footwear, the AC/DC x DC Shoes partnership also features beanies, longsleeves, and more as part of the line, ranging from $25 to $75. As AC/DC were a staple musi...
The coronavirus pandemic is still raging on, and that means everyone should follow the CDC guidelines: quarantine when you’re feeling sick, socially distance when you’re out, and wear a mask if there’s anyone nearby no matter what. Thankfully, Nine Inch Nails can help you with that last step, as they’ve just rolled out their own line of face masks to deal with COVID-19. Say hello to the “NIN Modular Face Mask Starter Kit”, a $35 ctton face mask deal that comes with interchangeable messages “for uncertain times” like these. Both of the grey and black masks have a filter, a bendable nose band, adjustable over-the-ear ringlets, and 13 replaceable patches to let the world know how you’re feeling: “DIRTY,” “CLEAN,” “NUMB,” “ENRAGED,” “BROKEN,” “FIXED,” “FRAGILE,” “PIG,” “ASLEEP,” “AWAKE,” “COMP...
Tackling bleak subject matters is nothing new for Nine Inch Nails, but even Trent Reznor hasn’t seen the likes of the COVID-19 pandemic before. Now, some of NIN’s past works have inspired a new line of “Pandemic 2020” merch. For a limited time, Nine Inch Nails are selling five new T-shirts for “modern times” via their official online store. The tees display song titles and lyrics from throughout the band’s career to address the strange world in which we’re currently living. One such design uses the lyrics “New world/ New times/ Mutation feels alright” from the song “Shit Mirror” off the 2018 album Bad Witch. Another repeats the song title “Everyday Is Exactly the Same” from 2005’s With Teeth. Two of the shirts display U.S. maps, with one featuring the line “Used to stand for something” fro...
Sigur Rós have announced their very own line of CBD tinctures in partnership with VONA. The Icelandic art rockers’ CBD extracts come in two strains called SLEEP and WAKE. The names are pretty self-explanatory: SLEEP is meant to help you “drift off into the ethereal,” while WAKE will “help you start your day feeling alive.” Each bottle contains 1000mg of the full-spectrum 100% organic, gluten- and vegan-friendly CBD derived from hemp. SLEEP apparently tastes like “spiced rose and lemon”, while WAKE is “fresh citrus pine” flavored. Bottles of the first batch of Sigur Rós’ CBD tinctures are retailing at $58 each, and you can get them via VONA. They’re currently only shipping to addresses in the US. This actually isn’t the first time Sigur Rós have entered the CBD market. In 2017, they teamed ...
