Scooby-Doo, the beloved Saturday morning cartoon that launched in 1969, will incorporate a new element in its latest episode: a guest cameo from none other than Guns N’ Roses’ frontman Axl Rose. The mystery-solving gang – Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and titular pup Scooby — walk up to a diner on Route 66 when they first spot the singer. The “Welcome to the Jungle” singer is lounging on a motorcycle, wearing a hat and skull necklace. The 1989 concert film features Guns N’ Roses members Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin, Eric Clapton, and John Lee Hooker. Both Rose and Stradlin join the Stones on “Salt of The Earth” off the 1968 LP, Beggars Banquet while Clapton plays “Little Rooster” with them. Guns N’ Roses took aim at President Donald Trump’s trip to the Honeywell factory in Arizona last week when the 45th president of the United States walked around the vicinity without a mask on. The band has released a special edition t-shirt with “Live N’ Let Die With COVID 45″ on it, which claps back at Trump’s maskless tour of the same factory that is producing the N95 masks for the federal government. The proceeds from shirt sales will go to the Recording Academy’s MusiCares that’s providing services and resources for musicians in need, especially during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
