Three Premier League clubs are eyeing up a move for Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze, claims La Razon. Since his promotion to the first team in 2018, Chukwueze has been a regular at Villarreal, making 114 appearances in all competitions. He has scored 16 goals for the Yellow Submarine, and was named by UEFA in their ’50 for the future’ piece in 2019. The European Super League collapsed on Wednesday as eight of the 12 founding members from England, Italy and Spain abandoned the breakaway project. The project collapsed after it came under massive pressure from fans, politicians, football officials and even the British royals. Arsenal star Lucas Torreira’s mum has died after a battle with Covid-19, as reported by Uruguayan daily Ovacion. Viviana Di Pascua, 53, was recently admitted to intensive care after contracting the coronavirus in Uruguay. Torreira, who is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid, was given special permission by the La Liga club to fly home to Frey Bentos to be by her side.
