President Muhammadu Buhari is this Tuesday holding an emergency National Security Meeting at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja. The meeting is expected to review the current state of insecurity across the country. Biafra group threatens violence, orders oil companies out of Bakassi peninsula
FIle Photo The militia wing of the Biafra Nations League (BNL) has issued a quit notice to companies operating under Nigeria in the Bakassi peninsula. The group alleged that Nigeria gets 60 percent of the oil in the region and uses the money to “sponsor” the Nigerian military against secessionist. A BNL commander alias ‘Aso Rock’ accused the federal government of “killing armless pro-Biafra supporters in Imo State and Rivers State”. The Police in Adamawa have arrested an 18-year-old man for allegedly raping a two-year-old girl in Jimeta, Yola. The command Spokesman, Sulaiman Nguroje, made this known to newsmen on Wednesday in Yola. Presidency: Nothing wrong with taking more loans
There is nothing wrong in taking more loans to finance specific projects, the Presidency said on Sunday. It urged those criticising efforts in borrowing to develop the country, to desist. Police arrest 28-year old man for raping lady twice with ‘fake’ gun
Anambra State Police Command, has arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly, raping a 36 year old woman twice with ‘improvised’ gun. The incident took place on Friday at Okpuno, Awka South local government area, close to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Unizik temporary site.
