Ultra Music Festival Announces Phase 2 Lineup With Headliners Tiësto, Seven Lions, More

After the festival’s staggering Phase 1 reveal just a few weeks ago, Ultra has now announced a plethora of additional artists for its long-awaited return to Miami in 2022. Headlining Ultra Music Festival 2022 will be Adam Beyer, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Jauz b2b NGHTMRE, Joseph Capriati, Sasha / John Digweed, Seven Lions, Tiësto, and Vintage Culture b2b Claptone. Steve Aoki Joins Sensorium Galaxy for Exclusive VR Performances

With four installments of his sci-fi themed Neon Future albums already out in the world, it’s clear Steve Aoki has more than an inkling of interest in the future of technology.  Now, the prolific dance music artist is taking an even deeper dive into that domain with his official induction into Sensorium Galaxy. The digital metaverse is home to a host of immersive experiences, including VR DJ sets in its utopian PRISM World. Aoki participated in 3D-scanning and motion capture processes to develop a photorealistic avatar, which will perform exclusive shows through the platform. Vintage Culture, David Guetta, Kryder Top 1001Tracklists’ “Top 101 Producers” List for 2021

Brazilian DJ and dance music producer Vintage Culture has taken the #1 spot in 1001Tracklists’ “Top 101 Producers” list for 2021. David Guetta, Kryder, Armin van Buuren, and John Summit follow. This year’s list contains artists from 27 different countries. The United Kingdom and Netherlands total nearly 40% of the artists represented. 33 artists made their first appearance and eight have re-entered. AVIRA, Armand van Helden, KC Lights, and MARTEN HØRGER were the producers that saw the biggest rise within the list. 1001Tracklists Guetta championed this list back in 2019 for his pioneering future rave sound. Beat this, Googleplex: Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, NERVO and Infected Mushroom just played a banging rooftop party hosted by Israeli tech giant Rapyd.  The October 6th event, first reported by We Rave You, appears to be part of a new company initiative called The Moment. Produced in partnership with local events planner OTD Global, the project promises to “make your wildest dreams a reality”—whatever that means.  It’s a surprising move for Rapyd, which licenses a PayPal-like platform to businesses in order for them to self-manage, distribute and collect cash flow. More Than 250 ADE Festival Events Confirmed For 2021 Edition

Despite overwhelming adversity due to COVID-19, ADE Festival‘s organizers have been steadfast in their belief that the show must go on. It now appears that their efforts have been well spent. This week, they confirmed that more than 250 in-person shows across 90+ venues will take place during the event’s upcoming 2021 edition, scheduled for October 13-16.  This development follows a recent loosening of COVID-19 mitigation measures in the Netherlands, including an official end to social distancing on September 25th.
