Masked Singer Sheldon Riley Shines With Billie Eilish Cover on ‘AGT’: Watch

Sheldon Riley doesn’t waste his voice on trifling matters. Like speaking, with America’s Got Talent judges. During Tuesday night’s auditions, the Sydney, Australia hopeful initially played the silent type, before revealing a voice which had Simon Cowell and Co. in raptures. Performing in an exotic black gown and a shimmering mask which could have been been lifted from Prince’s vault, Riley lit the torch with a dramatic rendition of Billie Eilish’s “idontwannabeyouanymore”. Riley later explained his quiet start. He’d rather let his performance do all the talking. Afterwards, Cowell praises Riley’s mystery and originality. “You have an amazing voice,” Howie Mandel enthused. “And the fact that I don’t know what you ...

Watch This 12-Year-Old Nail Tones And I’s ‘Dance Monkey’ During Her ‘AGT’ Audition

Annie Jones took the stage during Tuesday’s episode (June 23) of America’s Got Talent to audition with Tones and I‘s “Dance Monkey.” After admitting to judge Sofia Vergara that she was “a little” nervous, the 12-year-old singer stunned the audience with her take on her fellow Australian’s smash 2019 hit. “Dance for me, dance for me, dance for me, Oh-oh-oh/ Never seen anybody do the things you do before/ They say move for me, move for me, move for me, yeah-ah-ah/ When you’re done, I’ll make you do it all again/ All again,” the preteen delicately crooned before the beat dropped in and she began swaggering around the stage. By song’s end, the crowd inside Pasadena’s Civic Auditorium was on its feet, with Jones...

‘AGT’ Stars Ndlovu Youth Choir Adapt to COVID-19 by Making New Music

The dusty streets of rural South Africa are a far cry from the bright lights of “America’s Got Talent,” but that’s where the members of the Ndlovu Youth Choir find themselves coping with the coronavirus pandemic. With an electrifying mix of vocals and dance moves, the group made the finals of the U.S. television show last year. Sold-out performances across the U.S. and Europe followed, as well as a recording contract. But COVID-19 halted their international tour and landed them back where they began, Moutse Valley in South Africa’s Limpopo province, one of the country’s poorest regions. “We were supposed to go to Germany for a performance, but it got canceled. We are used to touring the world, doing shows everywhere, and during this corona time it’s been very difficult and frustrating,” sa...

Watch This 11-Year-Old Perform Spine-Chilling Dance to Excision Song on America’s Got Talent

At the age of 11, most kids are playing soccer, collecting comic books, or playing video games. Noah Epps, though, is dropping the collective jaw of our country after a mind-boggling performance on America’s Got Talent. Noah recently appeared on the famed competition show to perform his patented dance routine, which no one saw coming. The performance started out innocuously with the typical contestant-judge repartee, when Noah informed the judges of his age and the fact that he started dancing in first grade after he tried to enter a dance battle but was stifled by kids who said “he sucked.” Dressed to the nines in a badass marionette outfit and astonishingly realistic makeup, Noah then flung headlong into his routine, in which he languidly dances in robotic fashion to a ...

These ‘America’s Got Talent’ Contestants Performed Together for the First Time Ever During Their Audition

When an aspiring star plans to audition for America’s Got Talent, they typically spend weeks or months preparing a song or routine to perform in front of the judges. Not Broken Roots, though. In fact, their audition was their first time playing together ever. 44-year-old Austin and 37-year old Joey from Chicago, who both had jobs in law enforcement, met just six months ago. “In our jobs, we see things that, quite frankly, we don’t want other people to see, and our outlet became music,” Austin explained during AGT‘s premiere on Monday night (May 26), before Joey added, “We ended up playing the same circuit for quite some time and then, randomly, he came to a show, we ended up clicking.” The duo, now called Broken Roots, went on to deliver a roc...
