The residents of Exhale Records are coming together to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine with a charity compilation, Together with Ukraine! Helmed by Amelie Lens, the Belgium-based imprint has assembled a team of techno stalwarts for a 14-track album. Lens herself opens things up with a tone-setting rework of her 2017 original, “Purge.” Lens, who was named one of EDM.com‘s Best Music Producers of 2021, pumps up the energy of the original with an accentuated, thumping kick and powerful synths reminiscent of a prior era of old-school rave. The journey to Ultra Music Festival is officially underway after organizers announced the first wave of artists to perform in 2022. In classic Ultra fashion, the festival, which is scheduled to return to its longtime home of Bayfront Park from March 25th to 27th, will feature the most popular artists in electronic dance music. This Music Festival Converted a Decommissioned Jumbo Jet Into a Stage

Next year, Monegros Desert Festival wants you to do it in a plane—dance the night away, that is. For the Spanish event’s 2022 edition, organizers have purchased a retired Airbus A330 and converted the fuselage into a stage and dance floor. “We will transform it into a club for 1,000 people,” they announced this month on social media.  Powered by a partnership with 8.6 Beer, the “Montegros 8.6 Airlines Experience” stage will officially take flight July 30th, 2022.
