Gryffin, Louis The Child, More to Play Breakaway Festival’s Inaugural NorCal Edition

Breakaway Music Festival organizers Prime Social Group announced a new edition of the multi-city EDM event this week, bringing the fest to Northern California for the first time in its history.  Scheduled for October 14-15th in Oakland, the Breakaway’s first-ever NorCal edition features headliners Gryffin, Louis The Child, Big Wild and Said The Sky, with additional performances from Aluna, Austin Millz, Snakehips and more.  Brownies & Lemonade, an event organizer known for secret renegade warehouse shows and popular pop-up concerts on the West Coast, will also be curating their own stage “with so many icons and friends,” they wrote on social media.   “We’re thrilled to announce the fifth and final festival for Breakaway in California,” said Za...

Escape Reality With Aluna’s Kaleidoscopic “Forget About Me” Music Video

Aluna has invited us to “escape reality” and enter her psychedelic dream world in the music video for her latest single, “Forget About Me.” Out now via Mad Decent, the video takes us to a kaleidoscopic Palace of Versailles where Aluna, clad in a towering electric blue wig, hosts a decadent tea party and travels to an animated dimension with her VR headset. It’s all set to the feel-good dance pop tune of “Forget About Me,” which features Diplo and Durante and is embedded with a future house, four-on-the-floor bass beat and bright tropical house percussion. Aluna’s Inaugural Noir Fever New Orleans to Host Kaytranada, Channel Tres, Jayda G, More

New Orleans, get ready. Aluna is about to shut it down. The dance music luminary’s latest enterprise, Noir Fever New Orleans, is slated to take the city by storm May 27-30, 2022 via a partnership with Pollen Presents. Featuring an all-Black lineup of musical artists, it endeavors to celebrate the Black and queer roots of dance music as well the legacies of Black talents that have come out of New Orleans. Featured artists include Kaytranada, Jayda G, Channel Tres and TSHA, as well as house and techno godfathers Derrick Carter and Kevin Saunderson. Aluna to Perform In 14 Cities for Upcoming “Diskotek” Tour

This winter, Aluna is inviting you to “cum c her DJ” on her debut solo tour, “Diskotek,” which was announced earlier this week.  The run will kick off in Atlanta on December 2nd before concluding in Toronto on January 29th. Just weeks ahead of the anticipated release of a new EP, Midas, Austin Millz has decided to give fans a taste of what’s to come. The project’s latest single, “Gold” with Aluna, was released September 10th.  Bright synths glisten in the background of this sultry dance track, which places Aluna’s silky vocals front and center. Gryffin Set to Headline Crown Channel and Riot Games’ wwFest: Unlocked YR1 Digital Festival

In January, Crown Channel and Riot Games hosted their first digital festival, wwFest: VALORANT, tapping Madeon for a headlining performance and additional sets from WHIPPED CREAM, Moore Kismet, and more. Today they’ve announced their second festival with even more talent slated to perform. Their latest virtual festival installment is titled wwFest: Unlocked YR1 and is in celebration of the one-year anniversary of Riot Games’ wildly popular 5-on-5 tactical shooter game VALORANT.
