New Order and Pet Shop Boys Reschedule North American “Unity Tour” for 2022

After initially aiming for fall of 2020, the dates were postponed and then postponed again. The bands are now hoping the third time will be the charm and are rescheduling the trek for fall of 2022. New Order unveiled the change in a statement on Twitter. “Due to continuing uncertainty caused by the Covid pandemic, [Pet Shop Boys] and New Order unfortunately have to announce that their much-anticipated Unity Tour of North America will be moving to next year,” they wrote. Launching August 12th in Austin, Texas, the tour will stop in Tampa, Raleigh, Hartford, Nashville, Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix through October. Morrissey Announces New Album Bonfire of Teenagers, But Doesn’t Yet Have a Label to Release It

The album was recently completed in Los Angeles and features artwork by Liam Lynch (see below). There are 11 tracks in total, including questionable titles like “Ha Ha Harlem” and “Kerouac Crack”. Smashing Pumpkins Announce Gish-Era Live Archival Release

It comes in the form of a limited-edition vinyl pressing of the band’s 1992 concert in Kawasaki, Japan. An autographed 180-gram purple swirl double vinyl is available exclusively through Billy Corgan’s Madame Zuzu’s webstore. The audio is sourced from the soundboard and “is not available anywhere else.” The 11-song tracklist includes material from Gish, the 1991 EP Lull, and the follow-up LP, 1993’s Siamese Dream. Getty Images Manchester United have reportedly told Kingsley Coman they are ready to pay him £200,000 a week after tax. The Bayern Munich star has two years left on his contract but is yet to agree terms over a new deal. Bild claim Coman, 24, earns £200k a week before tax but ‘would like to have it in net’. United have apparently ‘indicated’ to the Frenchman they are willing to meet his demands – and make him their joint fifth top earner. But there is no guarantee of a quick transfer as Bayern are in no rush to make a decision on his future.
