Airtel Africa Signs $124-Million Credit Facility with Citi Bank

The telecom says that this facility is in line with its strategy to raise debt in its local operating companies, and will include both local currency and US dollar-denominated debt. Airtel Africa Coughs Up $40-Million for New Kenyan Spectrum

According to the announcement Airtel Kenya has purchased 60 MHz of additional spectrum in the 2600 MHz band from the Communications Authority of Kenya, for a gross consideration of $40-million. Airtel Kenya Agrees to $30-Million Spectrum Settlement
