Air Peace has said it would resume daily flight operations into Accra from its Lagos hub on March 15, 2021. In the same vein, the airline said it was ready to kick off scheduled flights into Ilorin from Abuja and Lagos. Newsmen report that the airline had suspended the Accra flights early last year in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was made known in a notice by Dubai Airports, the operators of Dubai International Airport. The regulations restricted Nigerian passengers from transiting through other airports. The move comes as the United Kingdom on Friday suspended direct flights between the UAE and the UK as part of measures to curb the spread of the raging coronavirus disease. The Nigerian High Commission in the UK has announced the closure of Air Peace Evacuation flight from that country scheduled for Aug. 8, as all seats on the aircraft are fully booked. The High Commission disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday in Abuja.
