Listen to Tiësto’s Intoxicating Remix of ACRAZE’s Breakout Hit, “Do It To It”

After months of teasing, Tiësto has finally unveiled his hotly anticipated remix of ACRAZE‘s global hit, “Do It To It.” Tiësto’s remix is an artful reimagining of the original from ACRAZE, who was recently named to EDM.com‘s Class of 2022. The Dutch dance music legend infused a fresh dose of his signature production into “Do It To It,” beautifully interpolating the classic Cherish lyrics with an electrifying, four-on-the-floor beat. Building on the ingenious simplicity of ACRAZE’s original, Tiësto rendition is a dancefloor filler—just like its progenitor. It’s the first official remix of the international house hit, though many artists have released their own unofficial edits, such as Zedd’s viral Squid Game ma...

“I Feel More Alive”: How ACRAZE Achieved Chart-Topping Success Through Sacrifice

Imagine going from the opening slot at Exchange L.A.—performing to a near-empty venue—to headlining and selling out the following year. For 26-year-old DJ and dance music producer ACRAZE, this was reality. Before becoming the red-hot “Do It To It” artist we all know and love, his music production journey started on a much different path. In an exclusive interview with EDM.com, ACRAZE admits that growing up, he “was not very musically inclined.” But his interest was piqued during his senior year of high school, when he knew he wanted to become a DJ. ACRAZE then went on to release his first original production, “Pull Up,” in 2017 via 4B‘s MACA imprint. It’s now a far cry from what fans have come to know and expect ...

Subtronics Previews “Do It To It” Remix, “Griztronics II,” and Collabs with Zeds Dead and Grabbitz

Subtronics casually dropped a laundry list of previews of high-profile IDs over the past 24 hours. On Monday and Tuesday, he took to Twitter to share a video of some of the unreleased songs he played during his performance at EDC Orlando over the weekend. Not only did he provide a little taste of what’s to come, but he also shared the list of collaborators involved. Starting off the video is a portion of his remix of this festival season’s biggest track, “Do It To It” by ACRAZE and Cherish. Maintaining the vocals from the 2006 single heavily sampled throughout, Subtronics sprinkles in some heavyweight bass and transforms the house anthem into a pounding dubstep banger. The next is a collaboration with Zeds Dead. After introducing the track with a sample from Basemen...

Zedd Mashed Up “Squid Game” With ACRAZE’s Hit “Do It To It” in One of EDC’s Most Surreal Moments: Watch

If you’ve been online lately, odds are your timeline has been filled with nothing but EDC Las Vegas and Squid Game. Over the weekend, Zedd managed to merge the two in one of the most viral moments of the music festival. During his Sunday night performance on the cosmicMeadow stage, the Grammy-winning Clarity producer dropped an unexpected mashup, blending the now-iconic theme song from Netflix’s runaway hit show with ACRAZE‘s breakout house anthem “Do It To It.” The distinct, ominous keys from the theme of the record-breaking show were brilliantly mixed with ACRAZE’s hit single, which DJ Snake deemed “the song of the summer”earlier this year. In true mega-festival fashion, eerie visuals from Squid Game were melded with Zedd’s logo befor...

ACRAZE Drops Highly Anticipated House Single “Do It To It”: Listen

In 2006, R&B group Cherish released “Do It To It,” which topped the charts for over five months and became a defining song of the noughties. Fast-forward to Friday, when Orlando-based DJ and producer ACRAZE released his highly anticipated rework via Thrive Music—and it’s on track to be the biggest crossover hit of the summer. In a victorious moment a few weeks ago, DJ Snake brought ACRAZE on stage at Brooklyn Mirage and hailed the track as “the song of the summer” before dropping it for a rowdy crowd. With a pulsing bassline and head-bopping drums, the tune is addictive. The beat syncs up perfectly with the catchy and nostalgic vocal hook, making it impossible not to sing and dance along. It’s one of those rare songs that compels the whole crowd to bounce and groove. Way bef...
