The Inspector General of Police (IG), Mr Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the Edo and Ondo states Commissioners of Police (CPs) to rejig preparations ahead of the governorship elections coming up in the states. The Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Mr Frank Mba, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday in Abuja. He said the order was to accommodate and address the threats and emerging trends as contained in the Election Security Threat Assessment Reports. The National Business and Technical Examinations Board, NABTEB, has said it will begin its NBC/NTC examinations from Sept. 21 to Oct. 15. Kogi Government has described the death of Attah Igala, Michael Ameh Oboni, as shocking and a colossal loss to the state and Nigeria. The All Progressives Congress, APC, has filed a petition against Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja, accusing him of accelerating hearing of a suit that is seeking to disqualify its governorship candidate in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
