Twenty One Pilots have announced “The Icy Tour 2022,” a 23-city outing taking place across the US and Canada next summer. The tour comes includes high-profiles date at Madison Square Garden in New York City; the all-new UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York; Scotiabank Arena in Toronto; Bridgestone Arena in Nashville; Chase Center in San Francisco; and Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. Today Peter Silberman and Michael Lerner surprise released Losing Light, an EP that reimagines four songs from their last record. At long last, Beach House have announced a new album. Titled Once Twice Melody, the dream pop duo’s first long player in four years will be released in four distinct chapters, with the first arriving tomorrow (!), November 10th. Chapter two will released on December 8th, followed by chapter three on January 19th. The full album will then be revealed when the fourth and final chapter is published on February 18th. Touché Amoré have announced a Spring 2022 North American tour in support of their acclaimed 2020 album, Lament. Vein.fm (formerly Vein), Dogleg, Thirdface, and Foxtails will provide support for the run, which kicks off March 4th in Oakland, California. The trek will then hit most markets across the US (and a few in Canada) before wrapping on April 12th in Santa Cruz, California. J Spaceman has announced a new Spiritualized album. Entitled Everything Was Beautiful, it will be released on February 25th, 2022 via Fat Possum Records. As a preview, he’s shared the lead single, “Always Together with You.” As with most new releases these days, Spaceman wrote Everything Was Beautiful during the pandemic. In a statement, he said he thrived in the “beautiful solitude” and found inspiration in his walks through an empty “Roman London” [which were] “full of birdsong and strangeness and no contrails.” Spaceman plays 16 different instruments in Everything Was Beautiful, but also employed a massive collective of guest contributors, including string and brass sections and choirs. Pavement will reunite next year for an extensive tour that includes dates across the US, UK, and Europe.
