Billie Eilish & Finneas and Hans Zimmer Win 2022 Golden Globes

“No Time to Die” from the film of the same name became the third song from a James Bond film to win the Golden Globe for best original song on Sunday (Jan. 9), putting it one step closer to an Oscar nomination and perhaps win. On Monday morning, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association revealed the nominees for the 2021 Golden Globes. The 79th annual entertainment awards are set to be given out on January 9th, 2022, and Snoop Dogg was on hand to help reveal the nominated TV and film projects. Belfast and The Power of the Dog ran away from the nomination pool with seven nods each, including Best Motion Picture, Drama; Best Director (Kenneth Branagh and Jane Campion, respectively); and Best Screenplay (again for Branagh and Campion). Jamie Doran and Ciarán Hinds from Belfast will compete against each other in the Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture category, where they’re also up against The Power of the Dog’s Kody Smit-McPhee.
