“Life Goes On” is coming! On Wednesday (Nov. 18), BTS shared a second teaser of the music video for their upcoming single.
The 15-second clip features black-and-white portraits of each member of the K-pop septet flashing on screen as the band mates sing “I remember, I remember” over wistful pop production. The snippet ends with Jungkook, who will make his directorial debut with the video, gazing solemnly into a viewfinder as he holds a camera. (The singer will be the first member of BTS to helm one of the group’s music videos.)
The visual for “Life Goes On” is set to be unveiled by Big Hit Entertainment on Friday (Nov. 20) at 2:00 p.m. KST/12:00 a.m. EST, the same time the track will be released to digital retailers worldwide.
“Life Goes On” serves as the band’s follow-up to “Dynamite,” their first career No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The track will also be featured as the lead single for their fifth Korean-language studio album, Be, which is also slated for release on Friday. Along with the aforementioned singles, the LP’s eight-song track list features as-yet-unheard tracks including “Blue & Grey,” “Skit,” “Dis-ease” and “Fly to My Room.”
To promote the album, BTS is set to take the stage for both the 2020 American Music Awards — where they’re nominated for both favorite duo/group, pop rock and favorite social artist — on Sunday (Nov. 22) and Good Morning America’s Thanksgiving week concert series on Monday morning (Nov. 23).
