Summer Walker is opening this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 1 as Still Over It marks first ever chart-topper.
The record garnered a total of 166,000 equivalent album units including 153,000 in streaming equivalent album units (201.1 million on-demand streams of the tracks), 12,000 in album sales and 1,000 in track equivalent album units. In addition to being Walker’s first No. 1 record, Still Over It marks the first No. 1 R&B album by a woman since Solange’s A Seat at the Table in 2016, and earns the biggest week for both an R&B album this year and by a woman since Beyoncé’s Lemonade. It also holds the new record for the largest streaming week ever for an R&B album recorded by a woman, earns the second-biggest streaming week for an R&B album in history and is the fourth-biggest debut by a woman in 2021.
Elsewhere on the chart, ABBA enters at No. 2 followed by Drake, Ed Sheeran and Morgan Wallen at Nos. 3, 4 and 5 respectively. Making up the rest of this week’s top 10 are Doja Cat, Key Glock, Olivia Rodrigo, NBA YoungBoy and Lil Nas X in that order.
