Stems Gallery to Present a Pop-up Exhibition in Paris Le Marais District

Paris is gearing to kick off its annual International Contemporary Art Fair [Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain], also known simply as FIAC Week. Over 200 galleries will bring a collection of work that spans design work, along with modern and contemporary art to the lavish halls of the Grand Palais.

To coincide with the event, Brussels Stems Gallery will host a special pop-up event in Paris’ Le Marais district called “Forget Me Not.” The title of the exhibition reflects on memories that have been collected through the shared experiences from the featured artists, who include the likes of Mario Ayala, Julien Boudet, Shaina McCoy and Tyrrell Winston. The latter of which uses the intersection of sports and culture to comment on the tragedy that is often tied to contemporary celebrity in relation to the history of mythology.

FIAC Week will commence on October 21 to 24 at the Grand Palais, but events have already begun around the city, such as an exhibition on legendary Italian designer, Ettore Sottsass at the Centre Pompidou. Amongst the host of events, be sure to check out Stems’ “Forget Me Not” at the address below.

In case you missed it, a never-before-seen Keith Haring mural will exhibit at the New York City Center.
