SteelSeries Introduces Its Prime Mini Esports Mice Lineup

Just four months after the debut of its esports-minded Prime series, gaming peripheral company SteelSeries is now introducing the Prime Mini lineup, offering a smaller take on the competitive gaming mice.

Retaining the same simple, down-to-Earth design language of its larger sibling, the Prime Mini series boasts all of the same features but simply at a reduced size for those who prefer something lighter in weight and more nimble. The standard wired version weighs just 62 grams while the wireless one weighs in at a slightly higher 73 grams to accompany for the built-in battery, which can keep the mouse going for 15 hours after just 15 minutes of charging through USB-C.

Both carry TrueMove Pro optical sensors that can reach up to 18,000 CPI as well as the company’s very own Prestige OM optical switches which can sustain 100 million clicks. Rounding out the look is 16.8-million color customizable RGB lighting by the scroll wheel to provide an understated yet playful aesthetic.

For those interested, SteelSeries’ new Prime Mini lineup is now available, going for the $60 USD for the wired version and $140 USD for the wireless version. Head over to the company’s website to learn more.

Elsewhere in gaming, Nintendo has finally enabled Bluetooth pairing with audio devices on the Switch.
