'Star Wars: Skeleton Crew' Finally Receives a Release Date

It’s been a couple of weeks since Star Wars: The Acolyte wrapped up with a dramatic season finale, leaving Star Wars fans wondering when the next show will release. While hit series like Andor and The Mandalorian aren’t expected to return just yet, the focus shifted to Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. Initially announced at Star Wars Celebration in 2022 as a 2023 release, the show was postponed until 2024 and has finally received a release date today.

“The story of four kids who find themselves lost in the vastness of the galaxy trying to find their way home,” serves as the plot according to Disney. Along the way, the group connects with Jod Na Nawood, Jude Law’s character, who looks to serve as their leader. While we lack a proper trailer, footage was shared at Star Wars Celebration 2023 and LEGO has even revealed its first set based on the new series, focusing on The Onyx Cinder, what is presumably the crew’s starship, and including minifigures of the five aforementioned characters.

Check out stills from the new series below and look for Star Wars: Skeleton Crew to debut on December 3 exclusively via Disney+ and stay tuned for updates, including an initial trailer, as we await more information.
