Over two years since its premiere, Star Wars: Andor has been revealed to be receiving its long-awaited second season. The next run of the series is slated to arrive on Disney+ on April 22, 2025.
The new season was announced at Disney’s D23 event in Brazil. The show acts as a prequel to Rogue One and the second season is set across four years, The Wrap reported. With 12 episodes in total, three-episode arcs will center on a different period of days during each of the four years.
Diego Luna is set to return as Cassian Andor alongside Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly and Forest Whitaker.
The new season is said to serve as a bridge between Andor and Rogue One and will offer a closer look at the formation of the Rebel Alliance. It’ll also reportedly see Andor meet his trust droid, K-2SO.
