Almost a month after it dropped its first teaser, Paramount+ has now unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming Star Trek: Strange New Worlds series.
Slated to arrive next month, the new Star Trek series will span 10 episodes for its first season and follow the adventures of some of the franchise’s biggest names in the years preceding Captain Kirk’s era onboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. Star Trek: Discovery‘s Alex Kurtzman is back to work on the upcoming show alongside Akiva Goldsman and Jenny Lumet, with fan favorites Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, and Ethan Peck all reprising their roles as Captain Christopher Pike, Number One, and Science Officer Spock respectively.
Joining them will be new cast members Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien-Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas, Babs Olusanmokun as Dr. M’Benga, and recurring guest star Bruce Horak as Hemmer.
For the Star Trek fans out there, Strange New Worlds will premiere on Paramount+ on May 5.
