Ahead of its release, Vincent performed the singles “Pay Your Way in Pain” and “The Melting of the Sun” during her musical guest slot on Saturday Night Live.
Vincent cut the new album with collaborator Jack Antonoff, who came on board the project in the winter of 2019.
It’s the followup to 2017’s Masseduction, a critical and commercial success. Masseduction peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and won Grammy Awards for Best Recording Package and Best Rock Song (for its title track).
