Gil was on loan at Eibar last season and he had an impressive campaign with them. The youngster managed to score four goals and four assists across all competitions.
The 20-year-old is highly rated in Spain and he has a massive future ahead of him. There is no doubt that the Sevilla winger could prove to be a superb long-term acquisition for the London club.
The youngster can operate on both flanks and his versatility will also be useful for Nuno Espirito Santo next season.
The Spaniard will require regular first-team football in order to continue his development and it remains to be seen how Tottenham accommodate the Spanish under 21 international in their first team line-up next season.
Tottenham needed to add more depth and quality to their wide areas and Gil is expected to push the likes of Steven Bergwijn for the starting berth.
Gil will add creativity, technique and flair in the final third for Spurs. His dribbling ability and intelligence will help break down the low blocks and the likes of Harry Kane will certainly benefit from his arrival.
Meanwhile, Erik Lamela has been linked with a move away from Tottenham for a while now and the Argentine winger needed a fresh start. A move to Sevilla will allow him to kick-start his career.
Here is how the Tottenham fans have reacted.
Bryan Gil (20):
The 5ft 7inch dazzling star has earned the nickname ‘Little Cruyff’ for his displays on the wing and brilliant dribbling skills in tight areas.
He’s not afraid to take on players, draws fouls and his movement is top class.
