More than a year after the game’s original release, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is finally joining the team on Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics‘ Marvel’s Avengers.
Unveiling its roadmap for the game over on Twitter, the developer revealed that a whole range of new updates will be dropping on November 30, including a special hero event that will introduce Spider-Man into the Avengers lineup — but only for those on the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. The addition shouldn’t come as a surprise to most fans of the game since Crystal Dynamics has teased his entrance for some time now, and was supposed to bring him into the title earlier this year. Unfortunately, there’s no first look at his character model yet, but fans should look out for more updates from the company.
Spidey aside, Marvel’s Avengers will also be introducing a new type of enemy called Echoes, a brand new raid based around Klaw, a series of additional cosmetic items as well as outfits inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and enhancements to the game’s system such as a power level cap increase and reworked gear upgrading.
Mark those calendars! A slew of content and reworks is all dropping on November 30!
