‘South Park’ To Release ‘Post COVID’ Part Two Movie Next Week

South Park: Post COVID: The Return of COVID, which marks the second of 14 exclusive South Park projects made exclusively for Paramount+, is headed to the streamer on December 16.

“If Stan, Kyle and Cartman could just work together, they could go back in time to make sure COVID never happened and save Kenny’s life. In South Park: Post COVID: The Return of COVID, traveling back to the past seems to be the easy answer until they meet Victor Chaos,” the official synopsis reads.

Post COVID, which was released on Thanksgiving, takes place 40 years in the future, where the pandemic is still ongoing, and the boys, who are now grown men, must band together in order to save the day.

Prior to the release of Post COVID, the franchise released two COVID-centric specials, which started with South Park: Pandemic Special in August 2020 followed by South ParQ Vaccination Special in March of this year.

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone signed a sizable deal with ViacomCBS and MTV Entertainment Studios in August, which includes 14 exclusive projects on Paramount+ along with the main series being renewed through season 30. The deal will run through 2027.
