However, this year, our comfiest pieces are set to be seen everywhere but the sofa. Recently trialled by Alexa Chung, the model and presenter elevated her humble Adidas track pants with some clever styling tricks.
Wearing her burgundy bottoms with black kitten heels, Chung defied the boundaries of the casual pants by smartening up the silhouette. She finished her trousers with a cotton button-down and a long, black, tailored coat. Chung’s outfit-elevating tactics juxtaposed the relaxed feel of track pants for a fashion-forward take on comfort dressing, and she’s not the only one who is set to turn track pants on their head this year.
