Sony Launches a PS5 Code Hunt Giveaway

Despite struggling with demand due to the ongoing global chip shortage issue, Sony has now announced an interesting giveaway for the PlayStation 5. The company describes the “Treat Codes” giveaway as “a contest that puts you and fellow gamers at the center of a globe-spanning code hunt.”

From now until March 7, 1 p.m. EDT, Sony will be sharing 14 unique codes that will offer gamers a chance to win a PS5 through various channels. The codes set to appear in the shape of a PlayStation controller are expected to show up online, on social media and at various major sports, gaming, film and music events.

By entering codes on the dedicated Treat Codes website and entering where the code was shown, you will be entered into draws for the Sony PlayStation 5. It is important to note that the giveaway is available to residents of select countries only – Argentina, Canada, Chile, Mexico and United States, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, New Zealand, Poland, United Kingdom.
