T3 and Young RJ continue to carry the Slum Village banner with their newest single, “Request.”
The latest track is the second offering from their upcoming album FUN, which also marks the group’s first new album in more than eight years. “Request” features production from Young RJ, as well as contributions from Earlly Mac and the British hip-hop ensemble, Abstract Orchestra. It follows the release of FUN’s debut single “Just Like You,” which featured Larry June and The Dramatics.
Slum Village will return to Europe for their FUN Since 92 Tour in April, and will make an appearance at New York City’s Blue Note with Chris Rob and his live band in February.
