Skrillex Shares New Track “Don’t Get Too Close” Leading Up to Long-Awaited Album Release

This Friday, February 17, Skrillex will drop his first full-length album in nine years, Quest For Fire. Slated for release via OWSLA/Atlantic Records, the DJ has been teasing the project with a roster of new music.

Last month alone, Skrillex dropped four new singles. There was a collaboration with his frequent collaborator Fred again.. and Flowdan titled “Rumble,” along with “Way Back” with Trippie Redd and PinkPantheress. He also shared a track with Bladee, “Real Spring,” and the hard-hitting solo cut “Leave Me Like This.”

With only a few days left until the album is unveiled, Skrillex has returned with another new song. This one is called “Don’t Get Too Close” and sees the DJ team up with German singer-songwriter Bibi Bourelly. While Bourelly is quickly rising as a solo artist in her own right, she’s also the mastermind writer behind punchy hits such as Rihanna‘s “Bitch Better Have My Money.”
