Following the announcement of their brand-new house music record label Más Tiempo, Boy Better Know rappers Skepta and Jammer have just dropped their debut EP from the umbrella, a two-track release titled Mas Murder.
Over the weekend, London’s KOKO venue celebrated its first anniversary following a post-fire refurbishment with a huge Bank Holiday party that welcomed a slew of DJs and producers to the stage. The party was hosted by Skepta and Jammer’s Más Tiempo and it featured the two grime legends spin a collection of house tunes alongside the likes of Benji B, Salomé Le Chat, Kitty Amor, DJ Maximum, Ossie, and J Kolo.
The Más Tiempo brand was first introduced to the world at Circoloco in Ibiza last year and since then, the rappers-turned-house producers have teased various clips of their new material. Now, the full release has come to light and it sees Skep and Jammer combine on the title track, merging a Musical Youth sample with some groovy, two-step tech sequences.
For the second song on the EP, titled “Touch Me,” Skepta and Jammer perform alongside Ossie and J Kolo on a slightly heavier production, underpinned by cannoning drum beats and rave-ready claps.
You can listen to the Mas Murder tracks above and in other music news, Ed Sheeran has stated that he could be “done” with music.
