London-born rapper and DJ, Shygirl, has remained a star to watch following her pulsating dance/electronic EPs and her breakout debut album, Nymph. Now the musical artist is closing out the year with a new energizing club bop titled, “f@k€.”
Clocking in at one minute and forty-seven seconds, the song is relatively short. However, that doesn’t mean it’s without the artist’s signature robust sound. Shygirl enlisted the help of Los Angeles-based DJ and producer, Kingdom, to bring the latest into the fold. With the two pairing up, the track harbors a sound reminiscent of 2000s house music, which is complemented by Shygirl’s lofty vocals.
“Who needs to be real?/I want it fake, bitch/Give me sex appeal/I want it fake, fake, fake, fake, fake (To the club) (Mmm)/I need it fake, fake, fake, fake, fake (To the club) (Mmm)/I want it fake, fake, fake, fake, fake (To the club) (Uh, mmm),” sings Shygirl.
Before f@k€, a month ago Shygirl tapped Cosha for a new track “thicc,” which harbors an enticing heavy dark sound that makes one want to move. Just last week, Shygirl released the accompanying music video for it that reveals a kaleidoscope of visuals.
