Shortly after Jake Paul challenged Tommy Fury to a fight, Showtime has now announced that the YouTuber will be facing the half-brother of Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury in the boxing ring this December.
With the announcement, Paul noted that he “offered Fury to change his name to Tommy Fumbles or put up $500,000 of his purse if he loses.” Going to say, He chose to agree to change his name. Guess he puts more value on money then he does his own family name. Maybe he knows his family is disowning him once he loses, so money and [Tommy’s girlfriend and UK TV personality] Molly [Mae-Hague] is all he’s going to have left,” while speaking with ESPN.
Holding a 4-0 record, Jake Paul has made waves in the boxing world with his high profile bouts while Tommy Fury has blazed through the light-heavyweight ranks holding an undefeated seven-win streak.
Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury is set to take place at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida December 18.
