Youngest son of Fela Kuti, Nigeria’s Afrobeats pioneer has walked out on the Governor of Lagos State during his sister’s birthday.
A birthday luxury bash was put together to honour the first daughter of the late Fela Kuti known as Yeni Kuti as she turned 60 and it was all about the glitz and glamour.
A lot of dignitaries were in attendance and the Governor of Lagos State, Sanwo Olu had to squeeze out time from his busy schedule to grace the event.
But this didn’t sit well the afrobeat’s youngest son, Seun Kuti who didn’t fail to express his anger over the presence of the Governor.
He had to walk out of the event center which was held at the Fela Shrine and it took the intervention of his elder brother and first son, Femi Kuti to bring him back to the venue and pacify him.
Seun Kuti has always been on the offensive when it comes to the government and the sight of them disgusts him.
